Welcome to the Department of Lifelong Learning. The Department provides professional development to pre-service and in-service teachers, including a wide range of Additional Qualifications (AQ, including ABQ, HSQ and PQP) courses, as well as workshops to enhance beginning teachers' knowledge and skill levels. Our aim is to provide a range of high quality opportunities in order to help you in your professional development.

Our AQ courses are offered in a variety of formats--including online, independent study, face-to-face, and blended face-to-face and online--and run four times a year, starting in July, October, January or May.

We offer a variety of non-credit workshops on topics of relevance to teachers and other educators. These workshops are scheduled throughout the year, and most are available to students and the general public.
